Magewell Modator Chassis 2U

The Magewell Modator 2U is a high-density, modular, rackmount chassis designed to bring Magewell's standalone encoders and decoders to a scalable and reliable form factor. The Modator 2U chassis fits into standard rack deployments and supports up to 10 Modator modules, offering flexibility and high performance for demanding IP-based workflows.

• Designed for 24/7 Operation: Dual power supplies and optimized heat dissipation ensure reliable operation in high-demand environments, making it suitable for broadcast and live production workflows that require continuous uptime.
• Independent Encoding & Decoding: Each module can work independently to handle high-quality video and audio conversion from and to IP streams, providing the flexibility to configure the chassis for different production needs.
• LED Touch Screen: The intuitive touch screen allows users to turn the chassis on/off, view status information for both the chassis and each installed module, and configure network settings quickly and easily.
• Scalable Solution: With the ability to install up to 10 Modator modules, the system can be tailored to meet specific needs, whether for encoding, decoding, or both.
• Hot-Swappable Modules: The chassis supports the installation of various Magewell Modator modules, including those for NDI®, HDMI, SDI, and AES67 conversion, enabling customization and future upgrades.
