Firmware Update Notice for Magewell USB Capture Devices

Dear Magewell users,

We are pleased to announce that the firmware for Magewell's USB Capture devices has been updated. The latest firmware version is named USBCapture_Firmware_202508 and includes updates for the following devices:

• USB Capture HDMI Gen2 Rev D: 2.6.10399
• USB Capture SDI Gen2 Rev B: 2.6.10399
• USB Capture AIO Rev B: 2.6.10399
• USB Capture HDMI Plus Rev C: 2.6.10399

Firmware Update Details

The updates include:

• Add configurable delay for showing no signal status when input signal is disconnected.

For the USB Capture HDMI 4K Pro:

The updates include:

1. Fix the issue of not supporting loop-out devices with an EDID larger than 256 bytes.
2. Fix the issue that on some AMD-platform computers, the USB may sometimes disconnect when connected to a USB 3.1 port.
3. Fix the issue that when capturing a non-60fps video signal, if the capture frame rate is set to 240fps, no picture can be captured.
4. Fix the issue of inaccurate audio volume adjustment values.
5. Fix the issue that when using the SmartEdid function, importing or resetting the EDID does not take effect in real-time.
6. Increase the maximum input audio volume of the Mic.
7. Optimize the smoothness of the captured picture.
8. Add configurable delay for showing no signal status when input signal is disconnected.
