The SalrayWorks N DOR is a powerful H.264/HEVC encoder, streamer, and recorder designed for professional broadcasting and streaming environments. It supports NDI HX2/3, SRT, and RTMP streaming, along with lightweight MP4 recording, enabling efficient management and distribution of high-quality video streams.

The device allows users to process two simultaneous video inputs from HDMI and SDI sources, ensuring maximum flexibility for different production workflows. With support for MP4 recording and SAMBA file sharing, recorded content can easily be accessed, backed up, and shared across a local network.

Ultra-Low Latency Streaming

While NDI is a powerful IP video codec, it can introduce some delay in live production environments. To address this, the N DOR supports a 120-frame setting at 1080p, effectively doubling the frame rate and halving the frame interval. This significantly reduces latency, making it ideal for real-time streaming and live broadcast applications that demand ultra-low delay.

Real-Time Monitoring

The device provides a real-time encoding display, allowing operators to visually monitor video and audio status during broadcasts. This intuitive interface makes it easy to confirm whether recording, streaming, or encoding processes are active, helping ensure smooth and reliable operation.

High-Performance Encoding

The N DOR encodes H.264/HEVC video and AAC audio from HDMI and SDI inputs at resolutions up to 4K30. Such dedicated encoding hardware is essential for professional environments including broadcasting, live streaming, and video production.

To ensure maximum compatibility with professional equipment, the device supports both HDMI and SDI input ports.

Automatic Audio–Video Synchronization

Long streaming sessions can sometimes cause audio and video lip-sync issues. The N DOR addresses this with an automatic synchronization algorithm that detects and corrects timing mismatches between audio and video during extended broadcasts.

Flexible Recording and File Sharing

Encoded streams can be recorded in MP4 format, which offers broad compatibility with most playback and editing systems. Recordings can be stored on USB drives, SD cards, or shared network storage.

Through SAMBA file sharing, recorded files can also be accessed directly by external PCs or Macs on the same local network, making it easy to view, transfer, back up, or collaborate on recorded footage.

Multi-Platform Streaming

The N DOR supports multiple streaming protocols including RTMP, SRT, and NDI HX2/3, enabling direct streaming to platforms such as YouTube and Facebook. The device can even stream to two different platforms simultaneously, expanding distribution possibilities for live content.

Professional Audio Support

Balanced audio connections help minimize noise over long cable runs and allow for greater transmission distances without signal degradation. This ensures clean, reliable, and high-fidelity audio, which is essential for professional broadcast environments.

Advanced Processing Hardware

At its core, the N DOR features a RISC-V–based H.264/HEVC encoder/decoder paired with an NPU chip, co-developed in Korea. With an 8-core architecture, the system delivers fast processing and supports high-quality video encoding up to 4K30.

Device Management with Sharon Finder

The Sharon Finder App simplifies the management of NDI devices by automatically detecting their IP addresses on the network. It also enables remote control and monitoring via a web interface, providing a centralized environment for configuring settings and monitoring device performance.

Flexible Mounting

The device includes a universal camera mount with a 1/4-inch female thread, allowing it to be attached to ball heads, camera rigs, or other mounting systems for flexible installation.
