Magewell Director Mini

The Director Mini is a compact, versatile device designed to bring multi-input switching, graphics, streaming, recording, and monitoring capabilities to on-the-go productions. Featuring a 5.44" AMOLED touch screen, it is ideal for live event coverage, remote production feeds, and multi-camera content creation. Director Mini supports a wide range of input sources, including HDMI, USB AV inputs, live IP streams (SRT, RTMP, RTSP, NDI®), and media files. It also allows users to create engaging shows by combining various inputs with flexible layouts, powerful production tools like chroma keying, graphics, and telestration, and multi-source scene presets for fast and efficient production setups. With the Director Utility App, users can turn their mobile phone into an additional camera source, enhancing multi-camera event streams.

Director Mini also supports high-quality streaming and recording, encoding video up to 1080p at 60fps with bitrates up to 30Mbps. It can stream to popular platforms like YouTube, Facebook Live, and custom destinations via RTMP and SRT, or use NDI® HX3 for local IP-based production. It includes features for ISO recording, allowing users to record multiple sources simultaneously to SD card or internal storage. The device can be powered via an included adapter or two hot-swappable NP-F external batteries, ensuring long-lasting power for field production. Director Mini also offers extensive NDI® support, including NDI® High Bandwidth, NDI® HX2, and NDI® HX3, with the ability to handle up to three simultaneous NDI sources and NDI alpha channel graphics overlays.
