The Bolin D20S brings flexible, high-quality 4K60 video transport to Dante AV Ultra networks using standard 1Gbps Ethernet infrastructure. Engineered for demanding broadcast, live production, and enterprise AV environments, the D20S offers visually lossless encoding and decoding with ultra-low latency and full baseband video compatibility.

Designed for versatility, the D20S can be easily configured as either an encoder or a decoder with a firmware update. In encoder mode, it converts HDMI or 12G-SDI video inputs into Dante AV Ultra streams for network distribution. As a decoder, it outputs Dante video as up to 4K60 with embedded audio via 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0—enabling seamless hybrid workflows between IP and traditional SDI systems.

With JPEG2000 compression, the D20S preserves image fidelity while delivering sub-frame latency ideal for real-time use. PTP (Precision Time Protocol) clocking ensures accurate AV sync across all Dante-enabled devices, making the D20S perfect for multi-camera, multi-room, or long-distance AV-over-IP deployments.

The D20S supports full Dante Controller and DDM integration, offering easy device management, secure operation, and scalable routing. It also includes advanced features like IR pass-through, EDID management, and KVM functionality for system-wide compatibility and control.
