Magewell is Updating Firmware of Five Ultra Encode Encoders and Two Modules

Dear customer,

We are pleased to inform you that Magewell has released new firmware updates for the Ultra Encode family, including firmware V2.4.284 for Ultra Encode HDMI/SDI, Ultra Encode HDMI/SDI Plus, and Ultra Encode HDMI/SDI Plus Module, as well as firmware V2.4.288 for Ultra Encode AIO. This update is designed to enhance the performance and functionality of the devices, ensuring that our customers continue to benefit from the most advanced and reliable solutions. What's New:

Ultra Encode HDMI/SDI

1. Update NDI SDK to version 6.3.1, supporting monitoring of device streaming status on NDI Discovery.
2. Supports accessing device API interfaces via Access Token in request headers without login.
3. Supports automatic HTTPS certificate generation and certificate information viewing.
4. Supports HTTP service with mDNS enabled.
5. Supports setting custom time zone for overlay time.
6. Change the default value of NDI HX machine name to Ultra Encode #serial-no#.
7. Fixed the issue where DHCP service failed to start and could not assign IP addresses when the device name contained an English single quote.
8. Optimized the UI.

Ultra Encode HDMI/SDI Plus & Ultra Encode HDMI/SDI Plus Module

1. Supports the RIST streaming protocol.
2. Update NDI SDK to version 6.3.1, supporting monitoring of device streaming status on NDI Discovery.
3. Supports managing the device via ZIXI ZEN Master.
4. Supports accessing device API interfaces via Access Token in request headers without login.
5. Supports retaining the last streaming status after device reboot.
6. Supports automatic HTTPS certificate generation and certificate information viewing.
7. Supports adding Timecode SEI in encoding parameters, allowing corresponding Timecode information to be written into recorded mp4/mov files.
8. Supports HTTP service with mDNS enabled.
9. Supports setting custom time zone for overlay time.
10. Change the default value of the NDI|HX machine name to Ultra Encode #serial-no#.
11. Fix the issue where modifying schedule configuration parameters cleared the schedule description.
12. Fix the issue where the DHCP service failed to start and could not assign IP addresses when the device name contained an English single quote.
13. Fix the issue where the device could not upgrade firmware when entering recovery mode.
